STAFF REQUIREMENTS
 

  1. Must be a follower of Christ, who shows evidence of their faith through word and deed.

  2. Must be able to meet our four core staff objectives: Connect, Guide, Protect, and Teach.

  3. Must be willing to work in different capacities for the sake of serving campers and sharing the gospel.

  4. Must be humble, teachable, and a team player.

  5. Must be at least 15 years old by June 2nd.

  6. Must abide by Hidden Acres’ Statement of Faith.

POSITIONS

COUNSELORS
Our counselors are trained in four “pillars” of loving campers: Connect, Guide, Protect, and Teach. Each counselor is responsible for a group of campers each week. Counselors must be out of 10th grade.






SUPPORT STAFF
Teams who work together in different areas of camp. Teams who work together in different areas of camp to serve campers. Must be 15 years old when summer starts.






SPECIALISTS
Individuals who oversee a specific area of camp. Experience in each area is preferred. Can be turned into an internship if needed.






INTERNSHIPS
Our highest leadership role. These leaders oversee other summer staff. There is potential for college credit if needed. Must be out of high school.

EXTRA OPPORTUNITIES

COLLEGE CREDIT
Earn three transferable college credits while serving and learning in your role during summer camp. Scholarships available for every student!








GROW TEAMS
Grow Teams stay after summer camp to help facilitate retreats for guest groups. This is an important part of our ministry, and we need lots of staff to help us make our guests feel welcome. It’s also an opportunity to grow deeper in your relationships with other summer staff and the full time staff through daily Bible studies, living in community, and scheduled off-site activities.
