Retreat Information.

Hidden Acres charges separate fees for meals and lodging, so that you can design your retreat to meet your needs. It is the perfect place to have retreats/conferences for any age or marital status (singles, couples, or families)

Our sleeping accomodations range from cabins with shower houses to our modern lodges. We also have RV & tent sites with water and electric hookups. Click on the RETREAT HANDBOOK below for prices, pictures, and more information.

We have a new air conditioned/heated indoor chapel with new chairs that seats 400.It has a large entry way & bathrooms. It is equipped with stage, lights, sound system, and projector.

The Family Life Center is the hub of camp. It has a coffee bar, camp store, large fireplace, & big screen tv in the front room. A full gym, game room, hospitality room, indoor pool, & hot tub located in this building as well. It also has 4 dorm rooms above the locker rooms that sleep 70 people.

We offer trail rides, paintball, swimming (indoor & lake) wagon rides, hiking, canoeing, climbing tower, zipline, mini golf, and a toboggan run in the winter.

Our staff is always willing to help you have a great retreat. We offer delicious home cooked meals, firewood for the fireplaces or bonfires, and a comfortable place to enjoy yourself.

Available for retreats everyday with limited availability during the summer, due to our summer camps.

  Father & Teen Son Jamboree August 15-17, 2008

  This retreat is set up to be a great time to connect between fathers and teenage sons. Activities include paintball, clays, fishing, golf, gps hikes, tower, 50 mile bike ride, & projects. Terry Baxter will be leading us in what God has to say about being men of God.

  Solid Survival September 12-14, 2008

  Ryan will be taking a group of only 8 families dads & teenage sons, on this survival trip down the DesMoines River. He will teach & perform the basics of survival. Building a fire, shelter, orienteering, gathering food, water, & if needed, first aid. There will be a contest with awards given to the winners for the weekend from challenges. It's Survival, man! Be prepared to eat the unexpected!
